Dear Hiring Team,

BrightPath’s focus on educator and learner workflows connects with the work I most enjoy: listening closely to the people who use and operate a service, then turning that evidence into a simpler and more measurable product. I am applying for the Senior Product Manager, Learning Platform role with nine years of product experience across complex customer and public-interest workflows.

At Harborlight Software, I lead strategy, discovery, quarterly outcomes, and roadmap decisions for two cross-functional squads. For a case-intake redesign, I mapped the journey with applicants and frontline staff, combined qualitative findings with completion and error data, and partnered with design and engineering on progressive disclosure and routing changes. Median intake time fell 31%, while successful self-service completion rose from 62% to 78%. That work required distinguishing the needs of the people completing a task from the needs of staff responsible for operating the service—an approach I would bring to educator, administrator, and learner discovery.

Accessibility is also part of how I define product quality. At Civic Grove Labs, I added moderated sessions with screen-reader and keyboard-only users to a benefits-navigation release. The resulting changes improved task completion from 71% to 92% in the usability study, and the team carried accessibility research into its definition of done. Across these roles, I have translated research and analytics into outcome-based roadmaps and coordinated delivery across product, design, engineering, operations, and partner teams.

My saved experience does not include direct K–12 district procurement, so I would not present it as a match. I can bring adjacent partner work, accessible product delivery, careful discovery, and a record of making operational complexity clearer for customers and staff. I would welcome a conversation about how BrightPath balances educator, administrator, and learner outcomes across its platform.
