Hiring Team
Greenline Energy

Dear Hiring Team,

Helping households understand a complicated service and take a useful next step is the kind of product problem I am drawn to. I am applying for Greenline Energy’s Lead Product Manager, Customer Energy Tools role with nine years of experience connecting customer research, operational reality, and product data across customer-facing software.

At Harborlight Software, I lead discovery and delivery for case-management and communication workflows used by local-service teams. In one redesign, I worked with applicants and frontline staff to map a long intake journey, used completion and error data to locate the highest-friction branches, and guided progressive-disclosure and routing changes with design and engineering. Median intake time fell 31%, and successful self-service completion rose from 62% to 78%. I later reframed quarterly planning around service outcomes including completion, intake time, and staff rework so teams could make clearer roadmap tradeoffs.

My earlier work brings another relevant perspective. At Civic Grove Labs, I managed accessible web products from discovery through launch for nonprofit and municipal partners, including a multilingual benefits-navigation product adopted by 14 organizations. At Northstar Retail Systems, I built product-performance reporting with SQL and investigated support and fulfillment patterns; one remediation reduced support tickets by 22%. Together, these roles taught me to connect customer behavior, partner operations, and measurable product outcomes rather than treating analytics as a separate reporting exercise.

I do not have saved experience in utility regulation or energy-market programs, and I would approach that domain as a genuine learning need. I can bring a grounded service-design and analytics practice, experience coordinating complex partner workflows, and a habit of making uncertainty explicit. I would welcome a conversation about how Greenline measures customer understanding, enrollment success, and operational quality across its energy tools.

Sincerely,
Jordan Avery
