Dear Hiring Team,

Kindred’s need to balance useful member data with privacy, governance, and operational reality matches the way I approach product decisions. I am applying for the Product Lead, Member Data Tools role with nine years of experience turning complex service workflows and product evidence into clear priorities for cross-functional teams.

At Harborlight Software, I lead strategy, discovery, quarterly outcomes, and roadmap decisions for two squads serving local-service teams. My most direct privacy-conscious product work was an AI-assisted case-summary pilot. Final eligibility decisions remained with trained staff, and I coordinated privacy review, opt-out controls, audit logs, frontline training, and weekly quality review. We documented three recurring error patterns and paused expansion until the highest-impact issue was resolved. That experience taught me to treat governance as part of the product operating model, not a review at the end.

I also bring experience facilitating across groups with different needs. At Civic Grove Labs, I worked with program staff, community members, designers, engineers, and partner organizations to translate policy and service constraints into accessible products and phased releases. A multilingual benefits-navigation product was adopted by 14 partner organizations, and moderated research with assistive-technology users helped improve task completion from 71% to 92%. At Northstar Retail Systems, I used SQL and product data to build shared reporting and investigate customer-support patterns.

My experience with cooperative governance is transferable rather than direct, and I would not blur that distinction. I can bring privacy-aware product judgment, evidence-based facilitation, and a record of making tradeoffs explicit across customer, operational, and technical perspectives.
